Who we are

Tenean is business software operated by PKNT ENTERPRISES LLC (“we,” “us”). Businesses use Tenean to run their day-to-day operations: answering inquiries, scheduling appointments and tours, keeping customer records, and communicating with the customers and prospects who contact them. This policy covers app.tenean.com and the communications the platform carries on behalf of participating businesses.

What we collect

When you contact a business — by text message, phone call, or a form on a business’s website — we receive the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, and the content of your messages. For business staff and owners with Tenean accounts, we also hold account information (name, email, role) and the business records the business keeps in the platform.

How we use it

To deliver the service: routing your messages to the business you contacted, helping the business reply, scheduling the appointments and tours you request, and keeping the business’s records of its own conversations. We use aggregated, de-identified information to improve the platform.

How we share

We share information only with the business you contacted, and with the service providers that make the platform work (such as messaging carriers and cloud infrastructure), each bound to use it only to provide their service. We do not sell personal information.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Text messaging

You opt in to text messages from a business by texting its published business number, by submitting your phone number through a business’s form that discloses text messaging, or by providing your number in person. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Connected services

A business can choose to connect accounts it holds with other services, such as QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Google, Meta, Soundtrack (for the business’s music) and Resideo (for its thermostats), to Tenean. Nothing is connected unless someone at the business chooses to connect it, and it can be disconnected at any time. When a business connects a service, that service asks the business to approve the access Tenean requests and gives Tenean a credential for it. We encrypt that credential before we store it, and we use it only to do what the business connected the service for.

We use information we receive from a connected service only to provide the features the business turned on, for that business. We do not sell it, we do not share it with other businesses, and we do not use it for advertising or to build profiles. When a business disconnects a service, we delete the stored credential and stop using the service, and where the service lets us tell it that the connection is over, we do.

QuickBooks Online (Intuit). When a business connects its own QuickBooks Online company, Tenean sends that company the customers, invoices, payments and refunds the business records in Tenean, one way. To do that, Tenean reads the company’s name and the lists the business chooses from (products and services, accounts and tax rates), and looks customers up by name so the same customer is never created twice. Tenean does not import the business’s books: apart from those lists it reads back only records it sent, and it does not change any record in QuickBooks that it did not send, except that it creates one product or service item when the business asks it to. We keep a record of which QuickBooks record each Tenean record became and a log of each sync, so nothing is sent twice. Information we receive from Intuit is used only to provide this sync to that business; it is never sold, never shared with other businesses and never used for advertising. Disconnecting, in Tenean or from inside QuickBooks, ends Tenean’s access; when the business disconnects in Tenean, we also tell Intuit to revoke it. Records already sent stay in the business’s QuickBooks company, which the business controls. A business may ask us to delete the sync records we keep by writing to support@tenean.com.

Resideo (First Alert thermostats). When a business connects the First Alert account that controls its thermostats, Tenean reads each thermostat’s temperature, humidity, setpoints, mode, fan setting and room-sensor readings about every five minutes while someone at the business has the Building tab open, and sends a change to a thermostat only when a person at the business asks for one. Tenean does not read the account’s cameras, locks or other devices, and keeps no history of readings beyond what is on the screen. Disconnecting ends Tenean’s access; nothing changes in the First Alert app.

Stripe. A business can connect its own Stripe account to take card payments on its invoices and plans. Card details are entered on pages provided by Stripe and go to Stripe directly; Tenean never receives or stores full card numbers. We receive from Stripe the state of the business’s Stripe account and, for each payment, its amount, its status and Stripe’s reference for it, which we record on the business’s invoice. When a customer agrees to save a card for a plan, Stripe keeps the card; we keep Stripe’s reference to it and a label such as “Visa ending 4242” so the business and the customer can tell which card it is.

Google. A business, or a person who works there, can connect Google services: Gmail, to send the business’s email from its own address; Google Calendar, to check busy times and to add, move or remove the bookings made through Tenean; Google Business Profile, to show the business’s reviews and post its replies; Google Ads, to show campaign spend and results and to report which inquiries became customers, with email addresses and phone numbers hashed before they are sent; and Google Slides, to show a presentation the business picks, with access limited to the files it chooses. Tenean’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Meta. A business can connect its Facebook Page and Instagram account to publish the posts it schedules, show how its posts reach people, and bring in posts it is tagged in so it can show them; its Meta ads account, to show ad spend and results; and the Meta Conversions API, to report booked visits and signed agreements so its advertising can learn from them, with email addresses and phone numbers hashed before they are sent. To ask us to delete information we received from Meta, write to support@tenean.com.

Tenean TV

Tenean TV shows a business’s own program on a screen the business pairs with its Tenean account, on an Apple TV, a Google TV, a Samsung TV or a web browser. Nobody signs in on the screen, and Tenean TV collects nothing about the people who watch it. To work, a paired screen sends us the pairing token we gave it and a short status report: its model, screen size, operating-system version, connection type, app version, what it is playing, how much it has stored and its last error, along with the network address it connects from. The business sees this so it can look after its screens. We do not sell it, share it with other businesses or use it for advertising. A program may show QR codes; scanning one opens a web page on the viewer’s own phone, under that page’s own policy.

Retention and security

We keep conversation records for as long as the business needs them to serve you and meet its legal obligations, and we protect them with industry-standard security controls. You may request access to or deletion of your information by contacting us.
